How Masonry Estimation Works
The calculation follows a straightforward step-by-step process.
Step 1 — Calculate Wall Area
The first job is finding the wall's surface area.
Example:

- Wall height = 2.5 m
12 × 2.5 = 30 m²
This represents the total surface before subtracting any openings.
Step 2 — Subtract Doors & Windows
If the wall includes openings, remove them first.

- Two windows = 1.5 m² each
Opening area:
2 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 5 m²
Net wall area:
30 − 5 = 25 m²

25 ÷ 0.02 = 1,250 bricks
